SSS Tutoring Services
Personalized academic support designed to help you build confidence, strengthen course comprehension, and achieve success in the classroom.
Whether you're preparing for an exam, working through difficult concepts, or looking to improve your study habits, SSS tutoring provides individualized support from trained peer tutors who have successfully completed the courses they support.
Subjects We Support
Student Support Services offers tutoring in a variety of high-demand subject areas. Availability may vary by semester based on student enrollment and tutor availability.

| Come prepared with class notes, assignments, and course materials. | Tutoring is available to eligible SSS participants. | Arrive on time and prepared for each tutoring session. |
| Review course content before your tutoring session. | Support is offered based on tutor availability and course demand. | Notify your tutor in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. |
| Identify specific questions or topics you would like to discuss. | Current tutoring subjects include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, College Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, Spanish, and French. | Tutoring sessions should take place in approved public or campus locations. |
| Actively participate and engage during each session. | Contact SSS to request tutoring assistance or learn about available tutoring options. | All participants are expected to follow LSU's Code of Student Conduct. |
Tutoring Guidelines & Expectations
Tutors and students should meet only in appropriate public or campus spaces, such as the SSS Lab, LSU Library, or other public study areas. Meetings in private residences (including dorm rooms, apartments, or houses) are not permitted.
All participants in SSS tutoring are expected to follow the Louisiana State University
Code of Student Conduct.
